The Lockwood Foundation - Pikes Peak
With the help of dozens of volunteers The Lockwood Foundation made the journey to the summit of Pikes Peak accessible to a young man with spina bifida named Reed Small. The Barr Trail hike was made possible by a modified off road wheelchair and dozens of volunteers with big hearts. With nearly 13 miles and roughly 8000 feet of elevation gain, the sheer power of community and love shines through in this story.
